Kenzi remember to change this title. -love kenzi

Hola Hermanos y Hermanas!
Buckle up, I've got a lot to say!

First let's rewind a little bit...
In the craziness of my first p-day/week in Peru I completely forgot to include some of my last miracles from the MTC that I would LOVE to tell you all about!

I was very much spoiled in the MTC, my favorite blessing was MY Searle. My Hermana Searle. She is LIVING IT UP in Nueva York ahora, pero I will be tackling her the second she gets here.

In the MTC she prayed for miracles for me and they happened, but within my LAST 2 DAYS THERE the miracle I was praying for her happened. Little known fact but the S1 building in the MTC is being torn down soon... so a lot of the paintings in the building were being moved to storage. There's a painting of Brigham Young and Heber J. Grant on a wagon waving goodbye to their families as they left on their missions... Hermana Searle's ancestors built the wagon! And we were trying to find this painting for 4 weeks straight so we could send a picture of it and Hermana Searle to her grandma. But it was taken down because of the construction at the S1 building.
In one of our last devotionals, the MTC president put it on the slide show... and we both jumped for JOY and then I burst into tears because I was praying we would somehow find this painting.
The Spirit told me as the devotional went on to go ask the President if we could take a photo with the painting on the projector. So we said Amen and we STOOD UP and MARCHED over to the MTC President and he told us who to talk to. We talked to them... and they almost said no... and they told us later that they really felt they should say yes. So we got a picture to send to her grandma. And I gained another witness that even the smallest things matter to God, because it matters to us. That is one of my favorite miracles of my mission so far.

This week in the field was so good but so hard. The type of hard younger me was praying for in a mission. We walked and talked for hours, just knocking doors and trying to teach friends that are very very busy. Lots of people have a hard time here. So we just pray for them and pray that miracles will happen. And they do. One night we were walking for hours and we found 3 people but didn't teach any lessons. When we got home we messaged lots of people and the LAST TEXT I sent of the night led to a phonecall... that phonecall led to a BAPTISMAL DATE! He just said "I want to get baptized!" He was supposed to get baptised yesterday but he couldn't make it to church SO EVERYONE PRAY FOR NEXT WEEK!!!!

This week has been tough for a lot of really great reasons. God is so close though. One of my favorite things about this place is that we aren't allowed to leave the house with 2 phones, just 1. (Because we could get robbed...) But I get to just walk, watch, and appreciate. God put me in this place, with these people that I will never get to see again... I know this whole mission will one day bedtime stories for my kiddos and tears on the plane when I leave... so I'm grateful that I have every opportunity to soak all of it in as much as I can.

I love you all so much! Remember to read your scriptures, say your prayers, and serve someone this week!
