The sun is shining! July 20, 2026
Hola!!!! How are all my favorite people?!?!
This week was awesome, we had exchanges and I got my new companion! Hermana Heimdal!!! She's amazing! And I stayed in Pando, which is one of my favorite blessings because this ward feels like home. I absolutely love these people.
ALSO HERMANA SEARLE IS OFFICALLY IN PERU AND I AM SO RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED! She is in fact on the other side of the mission but I know one day I will see her and be so so so excited!
This week was a little crazy because I'm in training, junior comp, leading out the area, and learning the language... but its been really good for me. In the hardest of times the Spirit would just testify in lessons and I'd feel so much better. I know that's from Heavenly Father. I know that joy comes from Him!
We had a fantastic lesson with a new friend, we have a baptism scheduled this Saturday with a 12 year old girl who has the faith of a giant, we had some friends come to church unexpectedly... this week has been full of miracles!
One of my favorite moments this week was contacting an inactive member... she almost didn't let us meet with her... but she did. She talked about how hard it's been lately. She testified in tears of the truthfulness of this gospel. Over and over again she said "Necesito mi Padre Celestial"
"I need my Heavenly Father"
And He knows, He sent us her way to invite her to come home. And she will. And we are so excited. This is the joy that The Book of Mormon testifies about. God doesnt let stories end without a happy ending.
I'm so grateful for a Heavenly Father who gives us amazing people to love. Throughout our whole lives. And I have already seen that so much on my mission. I love my new companion. The harder times are just harder moments in great days and great weeks. Tears get shed but not for long. Moments are scary but not for long.
There's no need to worry, God has got all of us.
Love, admiration, and Audacity!
